I’m a digital marketing apprentice. I’ve studied all the courses – no joke – available to me, and I have a bumper list of resources and online courses you can use to kickstart your career.
As an apprentice, I have to complete a certain amount of independent learning, which in the apprenticeship industry is known as “Off the job” learning. Depending on your contract, the course you’re studying, and a few other factors, this is typically 20% of your average week.
So while usually this is spent studying my online degree module content, I have also previously spent time studying the endless online resources available in order to fill these hours. As I complete more online learning, I’ll add more free online resources to this list – so it’s ever growing, and we all can continue forever learning.
Why not have a read through this bumper masterlist of digital marketing courses to see what you’ve missed and elevate your career?

Open University – Personal Branding for Career Success
The way you present yourself to your employers, both current and future, plays a crucial part in career success and satisfaction. If you get it right, it can enhance your profile at work, helping you to win interesting projects, promotions and the respect of your colleagues. It will also increase your chances of being the successful candidate at job interviews or attracting clients to your business if you’re self-employed.
Personal branding is a popular theme for online blog posts and articles. Individuals are encouraged to use tried and tested marketing techniques to promote themselves effectively to the world. However, care must be taken to ensure that the process doesn’t go too far, ending with you presenting yourself in an overly polished, corporate way that doesn’t truly represent what you have to offer.
