Day 4 of 365 – Standing in a Supermarket

I need to stop writing these the day after and start writing these on the actual day… Whoops.

I wish vehicles on the road would stop trying to kill me. I only made it 4 days into 2022 before a Norse van came whizzing through a red light while I was crossing on a green man. What a joke.

Today was my first day back at work and while the morning before had it’s challenges, I weren’t going to let that stop me from having a good 2022. Despite putting my vest on initially inside out, and almost being killed by a Norse van.

Work was work – there’s not much to say about it but I was glad to see everyone again. I’m still waiting on Anglia Ruskin University to get back to me regarding me joining them again next week so hopefully they hurry themselves along a bit.

I was a pretty decent housewife once I got home however, I cooked dinner (pie, roast potatoes, stuffing and roast vegetables) and I even attempted to bake some cupcakes. I did the washing up, took the bin out and tidied up behind myself.

Things To Live For #4: Settling into healthy routines

My routines are starting to settle and I hope they stay that way.

I popped into Morrisons on my way home to grab a few bits for dinner and this was the hardest yet to avoid buying alcohol. I was just a girl, in a supermarket, wanting something nice to drink. I stuck to my flat leftover Pepsi and Fanta Lemon.
