Kopparberg To Launch NEW Pink Gin In Time For Summer!

You heard it here first folks, one of the UK’s most popular cider brands are bringing out a new gin in time for summer. Jumping on that gin-hype parade that every brand and their mother are clinging on to these days, Kopparberg are releasing a strawberry and lime gin.

Perfect for pink gin lovers and those who wish to experiment within the Kopparberg brand, you will be able to get your hands on a bottle of this sooner than you expect. Launching in just a few days across the country in Greene King pubs, and then swiftly followed by supermarket launches in Asda and Morrisons on May 22nd. A 700ml bottle will cost you £22, which is an average price for a new launch.

Rob Salvesen, from Kopparberg, said: “We are extremely excited to be bringing our new Premium Gin to the UK.

“Kopparberg is famous for flavour and we’ve worked hard to create a pink gin in the iconic Kopparberg flavour of strawberry and lime, that we know the nation loves.

“We look forward to seeing pink gin fans across the country spend many sunsets making memories with friends this summer with a glass of Kopparberg Premium Gin.”

As soon as this launches, I’ll be heading to the shops to get my own bottle and I’ll be sharing my initial thoughts. As a fan of both pink gin and Kopparberg’s range of ciders, I can’t wait to taste this.

However, I feel I am about to have to make a huge purchase of a dedicated gin shelving system because my collection is spiralling out of control. Once I find a gin I like, I taste it & then I vow to myself to never open it again because I don’t want to run out.

While this gin is within the average price range, it isn’t the most affordable gin out there. The bottle is styled with a pretty, outdoorsy design on the label and will make for a great decorative item to upcycle and hopefully make the most of the price tag. If nothing else, this will end up being a good collectors item.

I just hope sales hold out and this is a gin that stays around for a long time.
