Despite what the weather would have us think, the summer is in fact nigh and this means party time. Those of us who prefer to cosy up in front of the telly with a glass of wine or a mug of hot chocolate are likely to start needing to dig around for a dress instead of pyjamas, and those of us who are slightly more prepared need to start thinking about what to buy people.
Buying a gift for a friend or family member should be simple. Something they’ll enjoy, and get use out of. There’s no requirement to buy them the most expensive thing you can find, often it’s the little things with a personal touch that people prefer.
I often struggle to find the right gift, and over the years I’ve bought the wrong thing. Turns out, it’s extremely important to know if your friends have a bathtub or not before buying them some bath bombs, and it may be good to know if someone likes frogs or not before you buy them a frog shaped soap on a rope. I’ve got better with gift buying over the years since then, and paying attention to what is released and what people are into.
Whether you’re buying a gift for a young family member or a best mate you’ve known for years, a personalised gift can be that little extra nice touch you’ve been looking for, and can save embarrassment from buying the wrong thing.. The Gift Co. [AD] have an extensive range of gifts which you can personalise. I’m holding out for a Personalised Vodka Red Bull [AD] set for my 20th this year, but someone might prefer something less hardcore, so why not check out their best sellers [AD]?
My family has some big birthdays coming up this year, my Dad is turning 50 (finally! I can stop teasing him about being nearly 50!) and my younger brother is turning 16. I’ve already found a few gifts through The Gift Co. which I’m likely to buy, but I don’t want to share them here in case they read my blog.
