  23. Freshly baked bread
  24. Getting that task done, that you’ve been putting off for so long, and it wasn’t so bad
  25. Shopping in a foreign supermarket

  28. Taking a packet of crisps to your hotel to eat on the balcony wrapped in a towel after an afternoon shower
  29. Finding beauty in the little things
  30. The smell of freshly cut grass
  31. That one pet or animal who sees your soul

  94. Bit niche, but feeling really rough, then throwing up, and you instantly feel so much better. You just needed to get it out.

  96. The feeling of calm after a cry

  98. The way a cat looks at you, when they truly love and appreciate your existence. Especially when you rescued them from a field by a busy road and they were terrified and small and so hungry and so skinny and may have died the night you brought them home, but because you found them, they now get to live to be a menace to society.

  100. That feeling when you walk off a plane and the warmth of the country you’re visiting just hits you.
  101. Waking up and feeling rested
  102. Holding someone’s hand
  103. Watching butterflies
  104. Doing the hard thing, and the relief that follows
  105. Getting excited about something
  106. Seeing your friend’s business succeed
  107. Trying a new food, spontaneously, even though you’re a really fussy eater, and it’s not that bad actually. But you don’t want to let on, but it might soon become your new favourite meal.
  108. Not getting the egg ick the next time you eat an egg
  109. Orgasms.
  110. When you wake up really thirsty through the night and you’ve left yourself an ice cold glass of water on your bedside and it just hits.
  111. A crisp McDonald’s coke when you really need one
  112. Attractive people
  113. Attractive people finding you attractive
  114. Donating money to charity
  115. Finding a £1 outside a supermarket (hint – look by the trolleys!) and buying yourself a little small something, because why the heck not, it’s basically free.
  116. The way snow looks after a night of heavy snowfall and no one’s walked through it yet
  117. Waking up at 1am to enjoy fresh snow before anyone else can
  118. Christmas morning
  119. New Years Day, because a fresh start might be cliché, but it can help
  120. Birthdays
  121. The day after your birthday, when you realise that it wasn’t so bad after all
  122. Feeling like a proper adult when you add a salad to your evening meal
  123. Eating the salad
  124. Learning to love salad dressing
  125. Gifting something to someone that you know they will love – or find funny.
  126. Giggling to yourself while you’re outside because you remembered something funny and you can’t quite keep a straight face
  127. Full on belly laughing until your eyes water – especially if you’re with someone else doing the same
  128. Stalking people you know on social media
  129. Positive – finding out the people you stalked on social media are doing really well, and you’re happy for them, because they’re good people and they deserve it.
  130. Negative – finding out the people you stalked on social media are doing really badly, but it makes you feel better about yourself, because they were mean anyway.
